Summer Overnight Oats

Summer Overnight Oats

Start your summer mornings on a refreshing note with our Summer Overnight Oats. Simply mix rolled oats, chia seeds, and oat milk, and pop in the fridge to sit overnight. Wake up to a cool and creamy breakfast bursting with flavour. Top with vibrant fresh fruits, a sprinkle of granola for added texture, and a dollop of creamy yogurt for a delightful summer treat.

What you'll need:

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 300ml oat milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • Fresh fruits of your choice (e.g., berries, sliced peaches, mangoes)
  • Granola
  • Yogurt

How to make summer overnight oats:

In a jar or container with a tight-fitting lid, mix the rolled oats and chia seeds.

Pour the oat milk over the oats and chia seeds, and stir gently to combine.

Secure the lid on the container and place it in the refrigerator. Let the mixture sit for at least 2 hours, but preferably overnight, to allow the oats and chia seeds to absorb the liquid and soften.

In the morning, give the mixture a good stir to combine any separated ingredients.

Top your overnight oats with a vibrant assortment of fresh fruits. Consider using strawberries, sliced mangoes, or blueberries for a refreshing summer twist.

Sprinkle with granola for added crunch (See our delicious homemade granola recipe here). Or the Happy Pear 'Steve's Dreamy Granola' is an absolute winner too.

We love to finish the toppings off with a dollop of coconut & vanilla yogurt for extra creaminess.

Enjoy your delightful summer overnight oats straight from the jar or transfer to a bowl if preferred.

Note: This recipe is flexible, allowing you to experiment with various combinations of flavours and textures to create your perfect summer breakfast treat.
